The SHJLPACK Coil master has been designed to take into account the metallurgic industry current and future needs for coil product protection
and packing requirement. A highly flexible packaging systems solution is from SHJLPACK.
Designed for high performance through-the-eye wrapping of coils for the metallurgic industry, to meet different customers’ need, our coil master
is available in a number of versions. The wrapping efficiency and protection levels are determined by the carriage and coil rotation speed.
Different packing material can be applied to the coils on the powered film shuttle based on needs, such as PE, PVC, Woven belt, etc. The level
of film usage and overlap depends on coil wrapping integrated blocker rollers rotate the coil, the speed of rotation, film carriage speed and the
film width used, etc. a fully wrapped package protect the coil from corrosion, damage, water, dust, etc.
The coil is delivered to the machine by crane or fork- truck for wrapping on the coil master. As well as stretch and VCI films, etc. Coils can easily
be packaged, handled stored and shipped after wrapping. The most important thing is that lower cost of ownership - easy service & low levels
of maintenance of the unit and film shuttle required.
Operation:
1. Loading the coils by crane, C-hook, forkman on trolley.
2. Coils can also be brought to the roller trolley by walking beam, coil car or conveyor.
3. Moving trolley to packaging station, positioning itself. Adjust the height of the U-type track for different coil OD for packing material dispensing
shuttle cross the center of ID.
4. U-type track closed.
5. Packing material fix on the coil by manual/by mechanical hand automatic (optional).
6. Wrapping start.
7. Wrapping finished and seal by manual/by mechanical hand automatic (optional).
8. Move out the wrapped coil by trolley.
Control:
A Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controls the system.
1. The PLC allows a variety of wrapping programs to be programmed according to the wrap goal required, including fully automated or manual
controls for all operations by bottom and touch screen.
2. Different film overlaps from 10-90% or number of laps required can be programmed and adjusted by invertors, depending on the pack
requirements.
3. The system can be operated by one operator utilizing a user-friendly, menu driven, touch-screen panel.
4. The system is programmed with a self-diagnostic package. The fault occur will be identified on the operator control panel.
Optional systems:
1. Automatic coil diameter scanning system. Sonar-scanning device is for measuring coil diameter for wrapping. This information is processed
through the PLC to determine the speed of trolley roll and shuttle.
2. Automatic mechanical system is for packing material cutter/clamp. This system automatically cuts the packing material at the end of a wrap
cycle and holds it clamped in until the start of the new cycle.
